Regional Sales Manager

TargetProcess is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and high-energy individual to join our sales program. This position involves marketing TargetProcess management software to companies and individuals within defined territory or assigned leads. The Regional Manager identifies contacts and cultivates prospective clients, generates sales proposals, and reports to and works with the Sales Manager to develop, plan and implement promotional programs on a territorial and national level.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepares action plan and schedule to identify specific prospects and to project number of sales to be made.
  2. Handles product inquiry calls/emails. Identifies prospects from existing database and contacts these prospects in order to turn them into clients.
  3. Generates a thorough knowledge of TargetProcess software and its services.
  4. Establishes rapport and maintains contact with both active prospects to sell new products and current clients to sell updates.
  5. Qualify leads to identify new business opportunities, quantify the prospects' business requirements, decision making criteria and process, budget, time frame, etc.
  6. Develop new and extend existing business relationships with selected regional partner organizations independent representatives (non-employees), resellers, distributors, or agents.
  7. Participates in the development, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs; prepares for and attends exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.
  8. Prepares a variety of status reports as requested by the Sales Manager, including but not limited to: sales activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity.
  9. Conducts trainings, seminars and online sales meetings, presentations.
  10. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Sales Manager.

Knowledge / Skills Requirements

Customer Service / Inside Sales Associate

Customers Service/ Inside Sales Associate will be part of the team that actively markets and supports TargetProcess and services offerings to its customers all over the world. This position will require a combination of sales and technical skills. TargetProcess is highly technical in nature and most of its customers are developers at medium- to large-sized businesses. It will be imperative for the candidate to learn and thoroughly understand TargetProcess software and vision so that he/she can best assists customers in their purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • To provide technical and pre-sale support to Customers and Prospects.
  • Work extensively with the customer to determine and clarify specific customer requirements and communicate these requirements to the Product Managers.
  • Build customer relationships, working with customers in quoting, processing order acknowledgements, invoicing, and all other internal functions to support sales.
  • To develop and deliver technical sales presentations in a professional and effective manner. This includes script development and presentation input.
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends, learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of agile products and technologies, competitors.
  • Internet research as instructed by the Account Executive.
  • Participate in customer conference calls in partnership with sales reps to clarify customer product needs and purchase requirements.
  • Interact with prospects and provide high level product information
  • Maintain accurate records and log all activities in our CRM automation system (SalesForce.com)
  • Maintain a good level of service and support with existing customers
  • Send direct mail marketing/sales literature to prospective clients as provided by Marketing.
  • Follow up with sales leads and schedule calls for an Account Executive.
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Provide initial training to new customers or follow-up training to existing customers
  • Must ensure every customer contact is handled professionally
  • Other business related duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as Customer service and/or Sales representative in a high-tech company. Software industry is a big asset.
  • Although not required, but highly preferred, Bachelors degree in computer related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including but not limited to: Windows, MS Office, and MS SQL, .NET.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and listening skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Well developed presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer requirements and coordinate with existing product.
  • Excellent phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with an online CRM or Sales Force Automation System.
